Creating Playlists with Labels
Creating playlists is a great way of organising the play order of related videos so that your audience can view this collection of videos in only one embedded player.
Before you get started
Before you get round to creating the playlist, you will need to make sure that:
- The videos you’d like to use are already uploaded to your account.
- Each of the videos you’d like to add to the playlist has the correct labels attached. This is not the case if you’d like to add all your videos to one playlist.
Once the videos are uploaded, the labels you choose act as tags which dictate which videos will be added to your playlist.
Creating a Playlist
Once you’re logged in, you will see ‘PLAYLISTS’ on the green navigation bar at the top of the page. Here, you will be able to make new playlists and manage those which already exist.
To add a new playlist to your account, you will need to select ‘Create New Playlist’.Now, you’ll be able to fill out the details of your new playlist. You can name your playlist, decide how many videos are added to it and whether to:
filter videos by label ✔
change size and layout of the videos of the playlist ✔
sort the videos alphabetically or by date ✔
allow the videos to play as soon as a web page loads ✔
allow the next video should start playing as soon as the current video finishes ✔
limit access to the video ✔
Creating a playlist in action:
From here, you will see the embed code for your playlist. If you would like to change how your playlist behaves on a web page, you can edit your playlist from its manage page.
Managing an Existing Playlist
Once you’ve created your playlist, you should be able to view it by selecting ‘PLAYLISTS’ from the green navigation bar again.
By selecting ‘Manage’, you will be able to view and edit your playlist.
