Selling Video with Vzaar Hosted Video
Say I host a gallery of videos with vzaar and embed them into my web site. What if I want users to be able to purchase individual videos in the gallery and buy a larger size and/or HD version of the video that could be viewed on DVD or Blu-Ray or iPhone or Android or other mobile device, PC, TV and/or laptop.
Is there any service that's compatible with Vzaar that would do that? Or can Vzaar handle that?

Hello there,
At present we don't allow users to download videos from our site. Most businesses using our service want their videos to remain protected.

Thank you for your response Jamie. I appreciate your comment. I guess, though, I'm a bit confused on how your response relates to my question. I'd like to use Vzaar, but I'd like a way to sell the individual video clips that are served to my site's users through Vzaar.
I was trying to find out if you or anyone knew of an efficient third party service that works with Vzaar's API that would make that possible?

You might want to look at the Flowplayer player. It is integrated with our content delivery network and may give you the password tool you seek. Details on that here: http://flowplayer.org/plugins/streaming/vzaar.html

I may not have explained what we're doing well enough. Sorry. He's more info.
I'm going to be shooting event video and want to sell brief clips of the video to site users like $1 per clip or some nominal fee. I want to serve the video through Vzaar.com but let some third party service like Payloadz or E-Junkie which ever is best suited to do so handle the sale part.
IMPORTANT: I do not want a recurring subscription where they pay for access to all of the clips, because that's not what these users will want. They will likely attend an event, and only want to buy just one or two clips of them and their friends for use on their iPhones or to burn a DVD or something similar. So being able to individually purchase clips is very important. Is this possible? Any suggestions on how to do this?

Hello there,
I just can;t see, given our current feature base, how we can help with that. With a lack of any real video password solution I can only see how you would use us as a CDN for the delivery of the video.
Sorry.
Regards
Jamie
